Infographic design in SL360

I've seen a lot of posting about how to mimic an infographic bu haven't really seen a way to actually build an interactive infographic. My thought was to start with a story size that is a long rectangle in portrait mode.  Create my infographic and then branch from linked areas on the landscape to interactive components (i.e., layers, light boxes or other slides). I'm not seeing anything here like this. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts around this?
