I have found some older threads indicating that embedding Java applets in storyline is not possible. Is this still the case, or is there some way of doing it? In particular, I am trying to embed a voice recorder (nanogong).
Thanks Jeff. I thought of that in the end (and it works) but it is not a very elegant solution especially as the object in the articulate window is not the same size as the actual object when it is displayed. But... it works
I've been having the same problems with using the 'Insert Web Object' function to bring in a Java applet. It sort of works but the size it appears at is different when published to a server is very different to what it appears as in Storyline when published locally to the hard drive. It appears with scroll bars a lot of the time.
I'm just waiting to be upgraded to Storyline 2 - do you know if this problem has been resolved here.

You could, using the Insert Web object of feature. Your Java applet does need to be hosted on an accessable web server somewhere though.

Hi Brian,
You may want to utilize the article here to remove scroll bars and such from your web objects.
Hi Ashley,
I added that code into my html file and it seemed to work! Thanks very much for your help.
