Inserting quiz into completed slide.
Oct 12, 2012
Is it possible to insert quiz components (question and check boxes and answers and submit button) to an already customized slide instead of having to "insert new (quiz) slide"? I tried to copy and paste the components from a quiz slide I created, but I don't seem to be able to copy them.
I know I can just create a new quiz slide and then customize it the way I need with triggers and layers, but I guess I started backwards (design/format first), so before I overhaul, I thought I'd ask!
A little bit of background on the project:
- I am recreating a quiz that was created in Storyline. I don't have access to the base file, and I'm new to the program, so I've been experimenting and watching some tutorials and lurking on the forum here.
- My completed, customized slide is all formatted and designed out and has several layers and triggers (that act like light boxes) on it. The only missing piece is the quiz.
- When I attempted to format and design the quiz slide master, the layers and triggers didn't translate from the master slide to the new quiz slide, thus making extra work to recreate the layers and all of the triggers.

Hi!
Have you looked at the freeform feature? http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/adding-freeform-quiz-questions.aspx
Wow. A DUH moment. Thank you!
NP! The richness of Storyline has made us all "Homer Simpson's" sometimes. :)
Hi
Thats great but what if you want to use multiple choice. the closest thing i can do is change the layout but my desired template is not showing.
cheers
