If necessary, you can also change the starting and ending frames for each slide in a step-by-step screen recording, which can be useful if, for example, you want to edit out an unnecessary step or a mistake made while recording. To do so, you’ll use theAction Fine Tuning editor. Here’s how:
Navigate to the slide in your step-by-step recording that you want to modify.
Right-click anywhere on the slide, and select Action Fine Tuning from the shortcut menu that appears.
Then do either of the following to adjust the starting and / or ending frames for the video clip on this slide:
The quickest way is to drag the starting and ending markers along the timeline until you have selected the clip you want to keep.
As for there not being more than one slide, does your screen recording actually contain any interaction, like mouse clicks or typing? Step-by-step screen recordings track "key frames" in which interactions occur...
And yep, for those step-by-step recordings, Storyline kinda determines how many different key frames (or slides) to use based on the amount of interactivity during the recording.

Hey Ejuana!
You should be able to use the Action Fine Tuning tool to move your endpoint back a little:

Thank you!
Yes - the fine tuning did fix the length. I really didn't do much interaction - I just switched from one screen to another to make
the test screen recording. I'll need to spend more time to learn how to do this with interactions
Thanks!
Ejuana
Great, glad the Action Fine Tuning did the trick
