I have created an mp4 video using the Publish Video option in Articulate 360. I am now trying to add an interaction with a button and publish again as an mp4 video. The video plays but the button does not work. Can I even do this in Articulate Storyline; I have Articulate 360? Thanks
Is it still true that if I publish a project to mp4 format, the interactivity elements will disappear? I have a project that will be added to a YouTube channel, and it'd be great if it could include interactive elements, but I don't think that'll work on YouTube.

Does anything in this post help? https://community.articulate.com/articles/interactive-videos-storyline-features
Hi Michael and welcome to E-Learning Heroes :)
You can certainly add a video to your Storyline course and add interactivity.
Videos are not interactive, so publishing to video will remove the interactivity you've included. Check out this documentation to better understand.
You can publish to an LMS or Web to retain the interactivity needed for your course.

You've got it, Karen.
MP4 video files are not interactive. They are meant to be watched passively but usually have some ability like Pause, Play, or Rewind.
Please be sure to prepare your Storyline 360 file before publishing to video format:
