I m using iOS 11.4 Safari but I found that the unload event not fired when from courseware redirect to other web page. It makes the cmi.total_time record cannot save into LMS, please try and any solution, thanks.
Thanks for your post! It sounds like things aren't working quite right in the newest iOS update, and I'm curious to know more. Can you tell me more about your course?
What version of Storyline are you using?
Is the content hosted on a LMS? If so, which one?
Have you tested the course from a desktop computer? If so, is the cmi.total_time record captured accurately there?
Thanks so much for those additional details. From here, I'd like to get a copy of your file so we can enable LMS debug mode and test the output in SCORM Cloud, a tool we use for LMS testing.
Simply attach an unpublished copy of your file to this form, and we'll do the rest. Be sure to let me know you're case number so I can follow along!

1. Storyline 3
2. Host in our own custom LMS
3. Tested below:
Window IE, Firefox, Chrome -> cmi.total_time logged when redirect
Mac OSX chrome, firefox, safari -> cmi.total_time logged when redirect
iOS safari -> can't log cmi.total_time when redirect
