We are deploying Storyline 2 content (latest update) within a hybrid app that downloads and plays the content on the local filesystem of iPad. We are encountering and issue specifically on iOS7 (iOS8 is fine) where video content will not play properly. We get the HTML5 video triangle-arrow but the video does not play, sometimes the audio will play.
We are just wondering if there is some sort of hotfix by re-encoding via Handbrake or Adobe Media encoder that will work for local playback om iPad for IOS7 only. We've tried the iPad profile in Handbrake but no luck yet.
I know of a previous issue in Storyline 2, with iOS 8 - but nothing specific to iOS7. Have you also tested the content in the Mobile safari or Mobile player, as I'm unable to assist with your custom app/local deployment?
