I am not able to create a question in which the user will fill in a text box using the iPad. The box is not active for the iPad, it works for a desktop.
Text entry questions should work as expected on the iPad as detailed here in this comparison chart. Can you tell us a bit more about how you're testing this - using the HTML5 output in mobile safari or the iPad mobile player? What update of Storyline are you publishing with? We're currently on update 5. Also, if you're using the mobile player - what version of the mobile player are you using? Currently it's on version 2.23.
