I am using SL3 and I have a linked video, but when its launched it opens a web browser and in order to get back to the course it has to be relaunched. Can a linked video remain inside of the course?
Do you mean that when you embed the video link in a layer, the video freezes in some parts? But when you hyperlink the video to open in a new window, it plays as expected?

Not sure I completely understand. Place the link to the video on a layer and video will play inside of course?
Unfortunately when I insert the video (.mp4), the video freezes in a couple of places. When I link it, it plays as expected.
