I currently have a slide with 8 layers and am realizing that I actually want to change the base slide to a layer and make layer 1 the base slide. Is there an easy way to switch these without recreating the slide?
This is really easy to do! Create an object (like a square) off frame, with a trigger associated it that says 'Jump to Layer 1 when Timeline of Square begins'. This will jump directly to the desired layer at the instant the slide begins. let me know if there is anything else that I can help with

Hi Eric,
I currently have it set up that way, but the audio is overlapping so I thought it would be easiest to switch the layers. Any fix for the audio glitch?
Jennifer
You can set a layer to pause the baselayer so the audio wont overlap. I would go with Eric's solution (because it is easy and I am lazy).
Your other choice is to copy and paste from one to the other
Hi Phil,
Maybe I am missing something, but I checked the layers properties and "pause the timeline of base layer" is selected - audio still overlaps.
Hey Jennifer,
There is another trigger you can set up to 'Stop Media X when Timeline of OBJECT starts', this should solve the problem
Thanks for this - just what i was looking for
