Is it possible to customise the Home ribbon?

Hi all - I'm developing an epidemiology and statistics module in a Rise/ SL combo. I'm using Storyline 360 to do most of the "maths" stuff and it's frankly *astonishing* how often I need to use the superscript/ subscript options.

Is there a way to customise the ribbon so these options are always visible? I'm currently having to highlight each individual 2 and click three buttons for each "squared". 

I'm aware of the format painter, but that only works for *exactly the same* format - any difference in font-family, sizes, weights, etc, requires I find the correct variant on the font and double-click then apply - so not really saving much effort there (especially since butterfingers here has a habit of also highlighting whatever character is adjacent to the 2).
