Hello! My company no longer uses MS Office products, we use all Google Suite. Is there a way to publish to a Storyline file to a Google Doc? I only see Word as an option.
Hi Brande, there isn't an option to publish to google suite, but you could try publishing to word and importing to google docs. You can view as a word document or allow google docs to covert to a Google docs document.
It will be a case of experimenting to see how accurately google docs can match the original layout.
Thanks for reaching out! Publishing to Google Docs is currently not possible in Storyline 360. To publish to Word, you'll need the application installed on your computer per our system requirements:
Microsoft Word 2010-2019 (32-bit or 64-bit) or Microsoft Office 365 (desktop apps only)
This is going to be a HUGE problem as more and more organizations like the one I work for are going to Google Suite and getting rid of MS Office. I wish Articulate could be a little more forward thinking. After Feb 2021, I will no longer have MS Office and will need to be able to publish to Google Docs. Is this on the board for any time soon?
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts! No news yet, but I'll share this with my team as we are monitoring requests for a Google-Storyline integration feature.
We'll let this discussion know if we make any changes that may help!
My company is going to Google Suite and we will no longer have access to any MS products. It's 2024 - has Articulate done anything further to allow courses to be published out to a Google doc?
We don't have any new updates to share regarding the request to integrate Storyline 360 with Google Suite, but I've added your voice to the feature request that we already have open. In the meantime, you can look at this article which contains some tips on bringing Microsoft Word files over to Google Docs.

Unfortunately we no longer use MS Office so I can't publish to Word.
Sorry Brande, I didn't know you needed Word installed on your computer in order to publish to that format. My mistake.
