In Storyline 2, is there a way to turn off the slide name at the top of the Slide Notes tab in published version of a course WITHOUT changing the name of the slide to only a space (need to keep the slide name in the code for editing/troubleshooting but don't want it on the Notes tab)?

I don't know of a way to turn it off but you can match the colour of the background so the slide title disappears - see this Peek
In the Player > Colors and Effects > Show Advanced Color Editing > Transcript > Heading Text.

I'd use Wendy's suggestion as there isn't a way to turn it off completely from appearing in the slide notes title.
