Issue Copy/Pasting Slides from One .story file to another

Hi, I'm experiencing issues with these slides I'm attempting copy/paste from one .story file to another. The files at the very bottom of the expanded scene display oddly and the Preview halts after the first one. Does anyone know what this is and how to fixe it?

Yes, I know how to fix it. Don't attempt to copy/paste. I think you already know why. I don't even copy paste objects from one story to another, much less slides or scenes, for this very reason.
What does work very well is to import slides. I don't think I have ever heard of serious problems associated with importing slides.
