Issue publishing Notes in Turkish

Dec 31, 2013

We are having a very weird phenomenon with creating a module in Turkish.

We have entered the Turkish translation in the Notes....

Have set up the Text in the player to show in Turkish...

In development, we can SEE the Turkish in the notes...and it publishes to MS Word correctly.

However, when we publish for LMS, the player is randomly dropping some of the text in the Notes...

Is there something you can recommend for fixing this?  or Troubleshooting?

Hi Mary Beth,

Since you mentioned it working when you publish to Word but not for LMS, are you able to test your course at SCORM Cloud to see if the text is missing there as well? If not, you'll want to connect with your LMS team. If you're seeing the same behavior at SCORM Cloud can you share your .story file with us here? If you'd prefer to share privately you can also send along here.

Hi Mary Beth,

SCORM Cloud is an industry standard testing environment in which to test your SCORM Content. Testing it by loading the course up to SCORM Cloud will help us determine if your LMS (Cornerstone) is having difficulty with the notes text or if there is something within the Storyline file itself that is causing the problem. If you're able to test it out there first that'll help us narrow down what is happening. When you're ready to share the file, you can try this upload link and you won't need a case number to share your .story file with us.
