Even though the font is black in articulate , I went ahead and made it black again. I re-uploaded it to Articulate review. and that slides subtitles went black !
However , when I went back to articulate and redid the black font on the notes, once I uploaded it to articulate review , the slide mentioned above went back to white. this is without even touching the slide!
when I toggle the font color for the notes/subtitles to black , and upload , it does change , but then it also reverses other slides back to white font.
Thanks, Elliott! I got it this morning and I'll take a look. Since you shared privately, I'll respond as a part of your case so keep your eyes out for an email from Support@articulate.com
Thanks for the Peek! That helps - as I wasn't sure which closed caption/subtitle to be looking at.
They all appeared black to me while viewing in Storyline and in the version I published to Review. Did you notice any in my example that were not the right color so that I could look at those more closely?
I'm a little confused I didn't see that your video addressed the specific issue I'm having.
In my video, it shows that modifying the notes/subtitles color on one slide changes other slides. I still have this issue , although I was able to make some dark grey and others black. this was a better solution than white on white.
Hi there, Elliott. I had a look at your file as well as Ashley's output, and I saw the same erratic Notes text coloring as you did from slide to slide. I didn't have the Futura Std Book font installed on my machine, but even though I made color changes to the font, it reverted to white, gray and even one of the blues from your theme colors.
I'm going to escalate your case with Ashley to our support engineers for a deeper look. I couldn't reproduce this behavior in a new project, so I'm hoping they can identify something in the file that can be fixed.
Thanks for being tenacious in your description of the issue - we'll try to get this working consistently for you!
I wanted to pop in to let you know that we just released update 20 for Storyline 360! It includes lots of improvements, and you can check them all out here.
One of the fixes addresses an issue where a slide might be missing when slides notes could be the wrong color when a course had more than one slide master.
Here’s how you can update Storyline 360 to take advantage of everything the latest release has to offer. Let me know how you make out!

Still Experiencing this issue ....

Seems like a software glitch to me.... ?
Hi Elliott,
I'd be happy to help - can you share your .story file so that I can see exactly what you've set up?
Post it here using the Add Attachment button!
Don't want to post this one publicly , is there another way to get this to you ?
Hi Elliott,
Sure thing - can you upload it to me here?
I'll take a look at soon as I can!
Thank You , uploaded it this morning.

Hey Ashley - thank you for working with me on this. I've also got a quick peek video showing the issue. Not sure why I didn't think of this before.

I'm not worried about the closed captions
