I am having an issue I have run into before but for the life of me cannot remember what caused it. I am hoping someone will know the answer.
When I create a scenario in Try It or Test mode that requires the user to text in the box, Storyline is not auto-creating this type box. Instead, it is creating a hotspot and auto-filling the information. I should not have to convert every slide manually that the user should type in. However, there was an issue where this would happen and I cannot remember how to fix it. Any ideas? Hope this makes sense.
I was thinking that might be the issue. I work for a medical software company. The software is not installed on my computer. I get to it through remote access. Is that the issue?

Hi Melissa!
Sorry you've run into this -- I know it's a hassle to create those text entry fields manually!
I've seen this problem pop up when users are recording web-based software. Can you tell me more about the software you were recording?

Hey Melissa!
Ah yes, that could definitely be the culprit. We generally recommend recording software installed on your local hard drive or web-based software.
