Issue with templates

Hi,

I am having an issue with using SL.  We have a client specific template, but it is changing from day to day and from my computer to my co-worker's computer.  The fonts and font sizes are off, the layout (spacing) is different, and overall the training seems off. We are both working off of PCs, Windows 7 and both have the most updated SL version.

In addition to the great suggestions above I'd also suggest checking into the following:

  • Are you using a custom font? Be sure you both have the same fonts installed or else Storyline will revert to system fonts when you open the .story file
  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive).Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, includingfile corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior. 
  • You should also make sure the directory pathto your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters(for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents orsymbols in your file names.
