Issue with 'ticks' disappearing from the design quiz settings causing modules being unable to be completed by staff

Hi everyone, wondering if someone has had this issue?

When we review one of our modules, which have multiple assessments in each, sometimes the ticks disappear from the Design/quiz settings so when it is uploaded the module won't complete because it doesn't look for all of the individual assessments  to make up the correct score. We fix it and sometimes it is fine and other times it keeps doing the same thing.

We think it might be an issue with saving but we do save on our hard drive before uploading to our sharepoint. 

Sometimes the ticks disappearing appears random, it might be fine for a while but then it decides to have a little tizzyfit and just do its own thing.

Is there something we are missing?

Hi Julie, 

Would you mind sharing your project with us here so I can try to replicate the behavior you are experiencing on our end and figure out what's happening? If you prefer to share your course in private, you can open a case with our support team and share your project file there. 

I've previously worked on a project file that showed similar behavior, and I seem to recall that the reason was because the project file had multiple results slides, and disabling some of the 'Submit results' triggers caused the settings in the results slides to change. Let me know if this the same or close to what is happening on your project file!

thanks for your reply Joe, it happens across multiple modules which most of them have multiple quizzes and it usually happens for the final results slide. and randomly as I said. I wondered if it was when we reviewed a module and changed info in the quizzes? Not sure that I would be allowed to share the info and I can't predict if it might happen on a unit or not. Thank you

Hi Julie, 

Since the behavior appears to be random, I'd recommend creating a support case next time it happens so you can share your project file, or possibly a video of the issue with our support team. All of the files that you share will be handled in private, and we'll delete all of the files as soon as we're done with troubleshooting.
