Issues (Browser control, Quiz condition and Grading)

Jul 07, 2018

I'm using Articulate Storyline 360. Th're few issues, running with the customized slides.

When I open the SCORM package from Moodle3.4/3.5 on firefox, the window is not set to auto optimal size. An additional space is displaying on the screen (screenshot: browser)

I have self created quiz slides with multiple choice questionnaire, customized next and previous buttons. I need a condition not to skip next slide without answering the question. (user must attempt and click next).

At the last slide, when I submit (customized button), the user must receive grade to the moodle and close the window.

Could you kindly suggest me with settings on Articulate Storyline 360.

Many Thanks.

Hi there, Lavanya!  I have a couple of ideas for you.

First, can you launch your course in a new window from your Moodle instance?  Your setting will look something like this:

Second, quiz slides in Storyline have a setting built in that prevents the user from submitting unless an answer is selected.  Are you using slides that you built from scratch?  Storyline quiz slides include triggers to submit the specific interaction that you're using, and that's partly how Storyline gets information to your LMS.

Lastly, make sure you have a results slide tracking your quiz questions.  The results slide is what sends quiz data to your LMS.

If you'd like to share your .story file here, I'm happy to have a look and make more specific recommendations!
