Issues with Branching

Hello Everyone, 

I'm using Storyline. I repurposed an older course on safety for my company. I did a branching trigger (operations employees click here, site employees click here). One has a few more scenes than the other. Originally, I made it come back to one scene but I received messages, saying that the course only recorded completion if they also went the other route. 

So I completely split the branching by copying the same end scenes and made two endings. I'm still getting an incomplete message from the staff. 

Is there an on-demand recording I could watch that would let me know more about this? There are so many in the archive. Or are common issues with branching that someone can tell me to look out for?
