Issues with Files Upgraded to Storyline 3

I've updated a few files to Storyline 3 and run into some issues. I was wondering if anyone was encountering the same thing and had identified any workarounds.

1) In two courses that were originally in Storyline 1, when published in an LMS using the HTML5 with Flash Fallback option the font turned into jumbled symbols. This only showed in the LMS output and was fixed when the publish settings was changed to Flash only (of course, this isn't ideal).

2) I'm working with a course that was originally in Storyline 2 and am unable to edit text in shapes. Every time I try, I get an error and the changes are not saved. This one is really vexing me and I'm just going back to Storyline 2 for now.

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Hey Kristen! 

Sorry you're hitting these snags when upgrading your courses, let's get to the bottom of these issues.

  1. For this LMS font issue- when you publish the course, are you viewing the published output locally on your computer or is this occurring once uploaded to your LMS?
  2. That's an odd one! I have a couple questions for this one:
    • Are you working from your C:Drive or are you working from a network drive?
    • What's the error message you're seeing?
    • If you haven't already, try importing your slides into a brand new file in Storyline 3 and see if that fixes it.
