Does anyone know if its possible to insert a javascript trigger that will launch a document that I have as a resource? I don't want the resource tab to show, but they have to view this Word document before they can continue with the module??
remove the resource tab from the player create a new scene with a single slide and add the resources tab to this slide, remove the slide from the menu.
Ok, thank you for that suggestio Phil, but if I leave it on the resources tab which is what I don't want to do really, how do I prevent them moving forward without viewing the document?
So I ideally justwant a button that launches a 12 page MS Word document in a new window....

just to reinforce why, if you remove the resources completely it will not publish

You will have only one slide that cannot be seen so the reources tab will not be visible on your course slides.
You can add this link to a button and set the next button trigger not to advance until this button is equal to visited.
Of course this will only mean the document has been downloaded and not viewed.
