Two things... I'm using JAWS to check the accessibility of my courses.
1. I and am finding it reads the word "graphic" after every textbox is read. Any idea why this would be happening? Font issue perhaps?
2. I have my stories set up so that the right and left arrow keys allow the user to navigate as well as using the PREV and NEXT. However, with JAWS this wont work. Any way around that?

No outcome - they haven't told me they solved the issue! The response I received is below. You should submit a ticket too.
"I was able to replicate the issue with JAWS eading text boxes and adding the word "Graphic" in the end. Unfortunately, we were unable to determine a workaround. We have reported this issue to our Quality Assurance team for their review. I cannot offer a time frame for when or if this issue will be addressed. I would recommend, at this time, to take a different approach so that you continue working on your project."

So what would be a different approach - not to use text? hmm
Thanks Leslie - I hope this gets fixed soon. I have been testing with JAWs and having the reader say graphic after it reads the text is kind of disorienting.
I also noticed another issue today that I'm posting here just in case people are interested.
When a text box just contains a number (2012 for example) JAWS either does not read it or, depending on the version of JAWS you are using) repeats what ever was last read. If you enter alt text as a number it still will not read it but if you spell out the number (i.e., two thousand and twelve) JAWS will read the number correctly. I reported this as a bug but at least there is a workaround for this one.

Hi Nancy! I responded to you over here, but I wanted to be able to follow both threads in case a community member provided feedback.
