In Storyline I want to refer to a file on a file server (e.g. L:\test.wmv). When I publish the project, the file is added to the external_files map and the reference is set to this map in the published Storyline project. Is it possible to keep referring to L:\ ? The reason for this is that my client has a lack of bandwidth capacity and wants files to be loaded from local file servers instead of from a web server.

Using the relative vs. absolute path to a file is discussed a lot in this thread - and we generally recommend against linking to resources on a network drive or shared drive, as most browsers won't allow it.
