We're thinking of having users keep a kind of journal as they go through our module, storing what they type in a variable and letting them add to this along the way. My question is this: If they stop the course and come back in again later, will it keep their "journal entries" in that value? The course will be SCORM-compliant, posted on an LMS, and they will be logging in to take it. What if they log out? Will it still have the previously entered contents of the variable when they log in again?
Also, if anyone else has done this type of interaction, I'd be very interested to hear about your experience in implementing it, any pointers or pitfalls or workarounds you'd recommend...

if they resume or are force resume the variable value remains, if they choose not to resume it is lost
