latested install issues

I have installed the latest version today (3.77.30587.0), and annoyingly this has deleted saved colour palettes that I had created. 

Also on trying to edit the colour of a state of a marker, it will not show colours to pick.  the space where it would be just keeps flashing open then closes. 

I have reverted back to 3.76.30446.0.

Hi Kat,

Thanks for reaching out about this! I understand that you are seeing two issues after updating to build 3.77.30587.0 of Storyline.

  1. The color palette you used in build 3.76.30446.0 isn't appearing in the update.
  2. When you view the color palette for the states you created for your markers, you see a blank space where the colors should be.

I would be happy to work with you to figure out why this is happening!

After doing some testing, I wasn't able to recreate the two issues you were experiencing. Below is a Peek video of my testing.

Before we start troubleshooting the issues, I have a few follow-up questions regarding the situation so I can better understand what you are experiencing.

  • Is this happening with more than one file or is this the only one?
  • Are you working from a shared drive? If so, I recommend saving your files on your local drive before creating, editing, and publishing them. This will help minimize any unexpected behavior.
  • I’ve attached a Story file that I used in the test video. The color palettes display properly. Do you mind opening it into Storyline 360 on your end to see if you notice the same behavior?
