Layers/Trigger Issue

I have 2 slides set up in this storyline file. The first slide, the layers and triggers are set up perfectly. As soon as the video completes, these 2 figures appear. After the 2 figures transition out, then 3 buttons appear. This is exactly how it should be.
I've replicated the exact same layers and triggers for the next slide, but it's not functioning the same. The 2nd layer with the 2 figures appears, but very briefly. Then the 3 buttons appear.
Can somebody take a look at this and see what I'm doing wrong?

I don't know if that was your intention, but on the second slide, the timeline of the 3 Options layer is set to only 3 sec. (so it will only be shown briefly), whereas on the first slide that layer is set to 30 sec.
