lightbox menu issue with layers
Sep 26, 2016
I have created a button in master slide. when click on the button light box slide will open. lightbox slide has contains menu (8 buttons)items. when user click on any one menu button it redirect to respective slide. 8 menu buttons = 8 slides. each slide has some layers.
My issue is if user once click on the menu button while playing layer animation, (i think layer animation is pause)and click on same slide menu item anytime... the layer animation continues and base layer animation also playing.

Hi Venkata,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing the screen images. I'd like to see a copy of your .story file to check all the triggers and how the elements are set up so if you're able to share here by using the upload button at the bottom of the forum that says "add attachment" then we can offer some specific insight on that.
Hi Ashley,
Thank your for your response. i have attached the .story file.
Thanks Venkata for sharing your file - but I'm not seeing what you described and perhaps it's cause it's not the right file? On your lightbox slide I only see one button that links to slide 1.2, and that slide doesn't include any layers either? I checked a few of the other slides and they also didn't seem to have layers as well? I previewed the course and clicked around as I could from each slide to the lightbox and back again and all animations played smoothly.
If you are seeing different on this file, can you also confirm you're using the latest update of Storyline2 Update 10.
Hi ashley,
Thanks for your comment. my storyline 2 is updated 10 version.
i have rechecked the course. i figured out it may be browser issue.
storyline preview and story_html5 works fine without any issue. but story.html (firefox) giving layer trouble.
thank you.
Hi Venkata,
Just to confirm, are you trying to view the published content locally or within the intended environment? You'll want to upload to your web server or LMS for proper testing and playback as described here and you'll also want to confirm that if you are viewing it locally you've set up the trusted Flash settings as described here.
