Lightboxes and the Next button
Aug 02, 2019
Hello,
I am using Lightboxes to review on a quiz. We do not use Storyline to do this, we make out own. At the end of the quiz the learner has to select "Review Results". When they do this I triggered a variable to change to "true". When they go through the quiz a second time there is a button that shows if the variable is true. (I have used a layer and a state change to make the button appear. Both work fine.) That takes them to a lightbox. Nothing wrong with any of that, but when I close the lightbox, the forward button on the player does not work. If I don't view the lightbox, it does work. Any thoughts on this?

Hello Jessica,
It would be easier for us to help if you could provide a sample file, maybe a stripped down version.
Thanks.
Hi Jessica!
It sounds like there might be a layer making the forward button disabled.

Lauren,
I have already changed it to go to a different scene instead of the lightbox. The result was the same and I had no issues with that. If I still had a version with the lightbox then I would send it, but I would have to build it out again. Thank you for all your help.
Thank you,
Jessica
