Likert scale quiz & feedback layers

Hello E-Learning Community,
I am using a likert scale quiz in one of the courses I am creating and wanted to show different feedback layers based on user response. I am still new (< 1 year) to Storyline Development so this might be a simple fix...but I have tried to create different triggers but am not able to pull specific "always" "often" answers in order to trigger the feedback layers. What am I missing? Do I need to create variables somehow? Just having a bit of a mind block and any help would be appreciated.
Note: regardless of what answers the user gives it will still branch to the same slide so this is specifically about feedback layers (not branching).
Thank you in advance!

Hi Kayte,
I'm not sure if there's a way to go about that with SL's Likert Scale, but you can set up a "Likert-Like" scale to achieve what I think you're after. I've created a tutorial here that includes a link to another tutorial by a former Articulate Staff member (Jeanette Brooks) and a link to the thread where you can grab a sample of my file if you'd like.
Otherwise, hope someone can jump in with another answer.
Hi Rebecca,
This is definitely a great alternative - thank you so much for sharing!
Glad it may work for you!
