Limit attempts not working - Storyline 3

Hi. I've followed the instructions in other community discussions about limiting attempts and it's not working. I have a course that has 2 questions. There is no right or wrong answer; they simply have to answer one or the other. On the results page, I have it set to "always resume" and the question is set for 1 attempt. I also set "always resume" in the slide properties.
The problem is when they take the course/answer the question, they can log out and come back and it will launch at the beginning. We use Litmos as our LMS. Litmos tells me I have to control this on my side (in Storyline).
I also tried adding a retry button and setting it to one, but when the learner relaunches the course, they can answer the questions again.
Can anyone walk me through this so I can get it to work in my LMS?

We're happy to help make sure your project works as expected! First, what is the When Revisiting option set to? Reset to Initial State, Resume to Saved State, or Automatically Decide.
Second, are you hoping that if the user completes the course, then they can't answer the questions when the course relaunches? If so, you'll want to change the When Revisiting setting to Automatically Decide.

Hi! Thanks for the ideas. I set the "revisting" to "resume saved state" because I thought that would always bring them back to the last page. But I will try what you suggested. And I will submit a support case so you can look at the file. Thanks!
