Links in Moodle crashing course

I have several modules created in Storyline 360 and published for LMS that were loaded to a client's Moodle site. Some of them have links (shown as buttons in the modules) that go to the Moodle Course Resource Collection. The courses with these links keep hanging or crashing altogether after a link is clicked (not always immediately -- sometimes several slides later). Has anybody run into this and/or found a resolution? Right now the modules are unusable, which obviously isn't going to work for the client.

They are currently published as SCORM 1.2, although I tested one as SCORM 2004 and had the same issue. Also, the client and I both had the same issue and we are on different networks and in different locations, so it's not a network or wifi issue.
