I have a storyline project that I have published and I am having no luck successfully linking to outside documents and websites. Everything seems to be correct in the triggers, but when clicked nothing happens. I have attempted to publish and zip for my supervisor to view and it does not work.
Are you testing locally (on your harddrive)? If yes, then the links are probably blocked by Flash security settings. Either publish to CD or publish for web, upload to some server (or an alternative like DropBox or GoogleDrive) and test again.
