LMS Tracking Page and Quiz

The customer for an Articulate Storyline course wants to track both page views and quiz completion on their LMS (Skillport, SCORM 1.2).They want to ensure that learners both see all the pages AND pass a mastery quiz at the end.
Right now the course is set to track by quiz result, but this doesn't do what the customer wants:
- If a learner views some of the pages and then exits the course, the course is recorded as Incomplete, which is fine.
- If a learner views all of the pages and then passes the quiz, the course is recorded as Passed, which is also fine.
- However, if the learner views only some of the pages and then jumps to the quiz and then passes it, the course is recorded as Passed, which in the customer's eyes is not fine. (This is a mandated piece of training and I think they want to show high levels of compliance from every direction.)
Is it possible to have the course report as Incomplete until the learner has seen all the pages AND passed the quiz, or does it have to be one or the other?
We're considering options like splitting the quiz off from the course into a separate product, but I'm wondering if there might be a publishing solution that would save us the trouble.
Thank you,
David

Hi David,
Storyline only allows you to select one tracking option, but what about changing the navigation methods so that the user can't get to the quiz until viewing the rest of the slides? You could restrict the navigation within the course menu and on the individual slides as described in this tutorial:
Keep in mind that if you use Locked or Restricted navigation, this only affects your learners' ability to click on menu items to navigate. If your slides include a Previous or Next button, users will still be able to click those to move forward and backward in your course at will. To prevent that, there are a few things you can do:
Yes, we may have to consider something like Restricted Navigation.
I know it's possible to set up a button that is only active when a certain condition is met (e.g. the timeline on the slide ends). Is it practical for the condition to be "all slides in the course have been accessed"?

Hi David,
To set that up you'd need to track a variable per slide to indicate that they've all been visited. It would involve a similar set up such as the one described here, but a different variable for each slide.
