I am trying to use a slider as a scoring mechanism for a game. I have the slider moving based on the variable "slider1"
It all works, except that the learner can move the slider manually and adjust the score. Is there a way to lock the slider, so the learner can't manually manipulate it?
I wasn't able to get the transparent shape to work, but I was able to lock a slider by adding a blank layer which is triggered to appear on the base timeline start. I then checked the layer option to "Prevent the user from clicking on the base layer". If you are already using other layers, you can just use the same option for those layers.

You could put a transparent shape over the slider.

Thanks for chiming in to share Josh!
I just shared an older solution of yours recently and was thinking I hadn't seen ya around :)
transparent shape should work must be transparent not no fill, or put a hotspot on top of it.
Even though this thread is 12 months old Phil's answer SOLVED my problem. Thank you
