I lost a file that I had been working on. It appears that autosave had not worked any time during building the story. I tried the (%appdata%\Articulate\Storyline) and the file does not show there at all. Does anyone know why it would not show at all?

When working on a Storyline project, we recommend you work and save your file on your local hard drive. Working from a network drive can cause erratic behavior. Have you checked in the Documents folder > My Articulate Projects?
It sounds like you've looked in your temp files already. You can also try running a search for the term "*.story" in Windows File Explorer.
Have you tried checking the recycle bin? You can open the recycle bin on your desktop and select Restore.
