Yes, it was announced the first week of June and is approximately three hours long. I took it as part of my introduction to Storyline, plus I had not ever used Captivate or Camtasia, etc. I then progressed to all of the neat tutorials Articulate has, which are far more extensive and in-depth. The Lynda.com training is great, but like the Adobe RoboHelp training, it is strictly basic, not really even intermediate level. Good for newbies, like me.
It's a nice course for us noobs. I would recommend it if you have little or no experience with Storyline. Make sure you have a microphone hooked up before you go through it. The instructor has you do some voice-over work and integrate it into a slide. I wan't prepared for that so wasn't able to do it - lost that part of the training which seems like an important skill. Otherwise, great info with decent sample projects.
One thing that wasn't part of the course (I only looked at the titles) are variables. This is powerful tool in Storyline and can take your from a beginner to intermediate level user. Articulate has a tutorial on it on their website. I'll post it a soon as I find it.
Yeah, an advanced tut on Storyline would be great. I've gone to the school of hard knocks but I would love to get some of the people in my dept acclimated.

There's a lynda.com storyline course? And if Bruce isn't narrating it, then I don't want to watch it.
To quote noted philosopher Phineas Flynn:
"Yes. Yes there is."

Cool, well my company has an account at Lynda.com. When I get a chance to review it I'll post my thoughts here.

Hi, I am new to Articulate Storyline 3 and wanted to know if anyone has in suggestions for training? Is Amananet training worth taking?
Thanks so much
Hi Jill,
Have you seen our Training page? If you don't find what you're looking for there, I'm sure other folks will share their recommendations, as well!
