Making an arrow expand
Feb 15, 2018
Hi I need help again. I would like to use the embryo drawing as a background and superimpose the drawing of the arrow such that the arrows start appearing at the top of the image and extends on the left and right to encircle the embryo.
I don't think that any of the premade animations allow this, but I suspect that this is something that could be done with States. I am not really clear how to do that ... make many copies of the baseline state, edit the copies to reveal progressively more of the arrow and how to get the states to progressively change ? How to prevent a "choppy" appearance. I would like something more like a smooth Flash effect.
Thanks for help !

Here's an idea. I put it on two slides, and it's pretty rough. That's because it takes a lot of time to fine tune it to look perfect. It can be made better if you have the time and desire.
That looks pretty good !! the right idea.. but I don't see any trigger or states... another magic trick ?
It's all in the animations, motion paths, and timeline positions.
Oh yes...i see, but that allows only one direction of the arrow, not the other. unless i divide it in two and overlap them on the timeline maybe...
The other half is in the next slide, and it's much easier.
