I am curious if there is a feature in Storyline, that requires a manager's approval for completion of a course. I believe this is more of a LMS feature, but just curious.
There is no built-in feature in Storyline that would allow you to do that. Assigning courses to students, and tracking/approving their completion is done through an LMS.

Michael is correct. There is no setting in Storyline for this. You would need to contact the LMS to see about getting something like this set up.
