Our team has been working on a project for a while and cannot come up with a solution. We had an old module built in flash that we're trying to update into Storyline. It is a spanish pronunciation tool that presents a list of words in spanish that can be clicked on to hear an audio clip of the word. When we try recreating this in storyline and add multiple audio clips, each triggered by clicking on the corresponding word, the module lags out once we reach about 30.
They're all in a layer together at the moment because there is a scrolling box of around 123 terms per subject, and they don't all fit on one page without the scrolling
Maybe that's the issue; that there are lots of audio files in a layer. Without seeing the file I can only guess, but I would try putting the scrolling panel on the baselayer and add the audio files on separate layers.
I think I came up with a solution of opening up a separate scene in a light box with controls and am testing that, I will post an update when completed
My solution has fixed it. I moved each category to its own scene, and then off of the main navigation page opened up a lightbox with navigation for the next few pages. Worked like a shame.
