Maybe this feature already exists and I have somehow missed it. It would be nice if you could have the ability to replace an image in the media library with another image in the media library to reduce duplication. I am creating content for software application training and many of the core pages are used to access multiple subsections, so the same page is navigated multiple times between the self-guided activities and scenarios. However, as we all know… by the time we're done developing our training there is a good chance an update has changed something. It would be great if we could navigate to the use of that image through the media library and select the Replace button but have an option for selecting from the media library for an image we've already uploaded.

I had the same use-case before and fortunately, there is a Replace Image option, however, it's not a default option in Media Library. Here's how:
