I have a Storyline course that I have translated into Arabic using the translation feature. The challenge I'm facing is the menu. I can't seem to find a font choice that displays the menu both legibly and accurately. If you have created a Storyline course in Arabic, what font choice would you recommend? Thanks.

Hi Rodney
Are you using a unicode font? If non-English text looks correct on your slides but not in the sidebar, title bar, or buttons, you'll need to change the player font to a unicode font, such as Arial Unicode MS.
You can learn more here about Storyline's support for right-to-left languages.

Even though this thread is 4 years old, it totally saved me today in SL360, when I was seeing the player title and menu display correctly in Flash output, but incorrectly in HTML5. I changed the player font to Tahoma (a unicode font) and it works now. Thanks!

Rodney, I have never used Storyline but I have faced the same problem in Articulate Studio 09.
The problem is, Arabic language has a syntax which goes from right to left and which is not acceptable by Articulate Studio or Storyline.
If I were you, I would write Menus in Roman Arabic. For example, if I have to write "How are you", I would write "kaif Haal"... Got it?

That was helpful - it appears to have solved the problem. Thanks!
Glad to hear it, Rodney! Thanks for checking back in

Awesome Robert! Thanks for chiming in to share.
Changing the player font to Traditional Arabic worked for me, when the other unicode fonts wouldn't.
