merging question banks

Apr 06, 2013

Hello,

I have 3 different question banks in a project.

How can I merge them in a single bank?

Thanks

André

Update: I found a way. I import the bank 2 questions in bank 1, and same with the bank 3 questions.

Then I delete bank 2 and bank 3.

Not sure that's the fastest method, but it works.

Hi Andre,

Sorry for the delay! I'm happy to read that you were able to get your question banks to play together

Thanks very much for sharing the details. Looks like you're going about it the right way.

Let us know if you have any questions, or run into any trouble with this.

Good luck on your project,

Christine

Hi Christine,

I have a problem: I have a 60 questions quiz.

All questions are with feedback "by question".

I'd like to set the whole bunch with feedback "none".

How can I do that ? I've already asked, and was answered that this must be done by question.

I can't believe it's impossible to change the feedback settings for several questions at the same time.

Do I have to edit 60 questions individually in order to change the feedback settings?

That would be really time consuming, and boring.

Do you have a workaround?

Thanks

André

Hi there André!

I did see your previous conversation with Phil on this topic. Phil's correct, the changes need to be made on the question level. I do completely agree that it would be nice to be able to change the feedback responses for an entire question bank, or group of questions, at once. For now, though, I'm afraid you'll need to modify each question.

I would strongly recommend considering a feature request. I know this is something that many would appreciate seeing in a future release of Storyline. If you haven't already, please share a feature request with our development team.

Thanks very much!

Christine
