I don't have 360 yet, but not sure what you mean by a "stand alone" component in the course. I'm wondering if you mean that the course was published to be a stand alone for the web, and not an LMS?
If that is the case, you would just republish the course and choose LMS, with the various completion criteria set up as you like.
It was published on an LMS, and the standalone component is one of the completion crtieria for completion. But the course is a large course (divided into 4 separate modules) so not sure where to locate the completion triggers - sorry if this doe not make much sense. But I think you may have got me thinking about where to search for those completion triggers...
Are you sure that it is not possible for someone to bypass some of your content? It has happened many time where some of my associates have content on something like a lightbox slide that is not mandatory for someone to view. However, if when publishing you are using slide count as the completion criteria and it requires all of them to be seen, it will not complete.
You'd probably have to share you file with someone that has SL360, or show a screenshot of the various screens within the publishing wizard to show your settings.
With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Thanks so much for your help and advice... and I think I have solved it!
As Scott mentioned, the issue is most likely at time of publishing where the number of slides viewed was the completion criteria, whereas it should be the "assessment pass" that should be the trigger for completion.
Leslie - I tried uploading the file but I think the file is too large and I keep getting error messages.
How large is your file? It sounds like you may have resolved it, but if you're still stuck let us know here or by filling out that Case form and we'll figure out a way to see a copy of your file!

Hi Victoria,
I second Scott's suggestion.
