If you have xAPI data that you want to send out of a Storyline module, can you still do it the same way if the Storyline module is embedded in a Rise course or does the Storyline module have to be standalone outside of the Rise course?
It sounds like you are trying to collect xAPI data from a Storyline 360 module through a Rise 360 course. I’d be happy to help!
Unfortunately, that is not possible. The reason is that publishing a course to Review 360 is required before you are able to import that course into Rise 360. When publishing to Review 360 (like publishing to the web), the files needed for the course to run on an LMS would not be present in the output.
The only way to access xAPI data is by publishing a course directly to an LMS so the necessary files are included. We recommend using a standalone Storyline 360 course in this instance.
