mouse cursor dissapear on hotspot

Nov 03, 2013

hi,

I've created a hotspot and I don't want the mouse to change to a hand when the user hovers over the hotspot.

I also don't want to use the submit button.

I want the submit interaction to happen when the user clicks the hotspot.

thank you

vered

HI Vered,

Re: I don't want the mouse to change to a hand when the user hovers over the hotspot

Right-click the hotspot on the slide, and from the shortcut menu, remove the checkmark from the "show hand" option

Re: I want the submit interaction to happen when the user clicks the hotspot.

Double-click the Object Trigger in the Trigger panel, and from the Trigger Wizard window, click the Object drop-down and change it to Hotspot

You can remove the Submit button by clicking the gauge icon at the bottom right of the slide and removing the checkmark from the Submit button checkbox.

I've uploaded a quick sample. Of course, with this setup, if Learners don't click the correct hotspot, nothing will happen, so you may want to include some sort of prompt for them.
