Moving. And moving back

Feb 27, 2017

Hey,

I wonder if someone could help me.

Basically I have a four pictures stacked slightly.

I want to be able to click on one picture, the picture moves up the screen...and information is shown coming out of it. Then when ready, the user clicks on a 'close' button and it moves back into the original position.

And repeat for all four pics.

I can get it to move up and show info, but how to make it return to it's first position is a mystery.

Any ideas guys?

Thank you

J

Thanks for reply but that doesn't work sadly. You cant choose a moved object...to move again in that new position. When you select a second motion path option, it's in its original position only.

I've added a screenshot to show.

Click on a photograph, it moves up...info is shown on the folder paper.  Press close button. Moves back to start again.

Also have the issue of showing the correct info at the right time.

I don't think it can be done personally.

Hi Jon

I've tried a few ways to add the top to bottom motion path on the layer but I can't get it to work consistently.  Have you thought of using another style like a flip card where the user clicks the photo and it would spin and show the text information then click again to hide the text.

Might give you an idea - otherwise Michael may chime in with the MP solution for you.

I'm probably oversimplifying things, but have a look at the attached. Is this not what you were asking about? Each object (could be a picture) has two motion paths; they are identical, except that one has the Reverse Path Direction enabled. One triggered motion path moves the object up, the other triggered path moves it back when the Close button is clicked.
