Multiple text entry fields as questions on one slide

Jun 24, 2014

Hi everybody

I have just started my Storyline journey and have already hit my first (and I guess not last) wall... I would like to create a slide with 2-3 text entry fields, in which learners have to enter correct answers. These answers should then become part of a larger questionnaire, i.e. learners should receive a grade at the end in which their answers of this particular slides are included.

Example: The question is to enter the grammatically correct forms of the following sentence:

When (be)                                    the last time you (be)                                       there?

Answers being "was" and "were". But I don't want the leaner to find the answer out straight away. I want them to complete multiple question-slides and only at the very end they're supposed to get the correct answers...

I have created quizzes and answer slides but multiple text entry fields on one slide as a part of a whole questionnaire beats me so far...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you everybody and have a great day!

Mitch

Hi Mitch and welcome to the Heroes community!

Have you seen the tutorial here on how to simulate multiple fill in the blanks on one slide ( as by default it's one question per slide)? You can customize when and how they see the feedback - and this method also assume they need to provide both correct answers to have the question scored correct as a whole.

Hi

I have been following these tutorials, http://en-uk.articulate.com/support/storyline/how-to-evaluate-multiple-fill-in-the-blanks-on-the-same-slide

but when I try to submit.. i get 'you must complete the question', My buttons off the slide don't have triggers assigned. so I am assuming that is why, even though the triggers and variables are set the same as in the example to change the state of the button to selcted if both questions are ok.

any ideas?
