Multiple True/False on 1 page

Feb 27, 2014

I would like to create a pre and post test where there are 6 True/False questions on one slide.

I would like to record both the pre and post test results for comparison.

Can you point me to info that will enable me to do this?

So far, I created the 6 quiz questions, the cut and pasted the questions and the T/F radio buttons onto my slide, so it LOOKS good, but I don't seem to be able to figure out how to assign 1 set of T/F buttons to each question and record the results.

Thanks!  I so appreciate your help.

Have a look at the attached file and see if that works for you. (Here is the published example: http://dev.keypointlearn.com/xcl71_SL/PrePost/V1/story.html). For each Pre-and Post question, I set a variable, depending on which of the T/F checkboxes is selected. Based on these variables, the checkboxes on the Summary page are "turned on". Hope that helps.

In my example I hadn't set up any reporting/scoring. What is it that you want to report, I assume it's the score of the post test? And if yes, how should the six T/F questions be scored? Should there be one score (e.g. 10 points) when I get all six questions correct or should there be partial scoring, e.g. I get 1 point for each correctly answered question?

I would like to download this example but it seems it is no longer available. I want to do something similar in my course and would rather not reinvent the wheel if I can use this as a starting point. I looked through several pages of template pages and MIchael's profile page but cannot find it. Is there anyway for me to download this anymore, or can someone point me to something like it that's more recent? Thanks very much!

I'm replying on this ancient thread because this is the closest thing to what I'm trying to do. I have several T/F variables throughout my course that make up a "quiz" that I need to report to my LMS. I'm a brand new Storyline user - otherwise I may have set this up a bit differently! (Recovering Captivate user).

I've seen the tutorials on reporting text variables. Obviously, T/F is different than a numeric or text variable. So...any ideas on how to report? I'm not afraid of a little JavaScript, but I'm not a power user.
